Ward was the first baby born in MonroeLouisiana on 15 April, 1976. She was a student at an exclusive Christian primary school, called Monroe Christian School. For her secondary education, Ward first attended Ouachita High School. However, she then transferred onto River Oaks High School during the summer right after her Junior year. After her graduation she briefly attended Northeast Louisiana University. Ward, then 13, was modeling when she quit the school. Then she moved into New York to pursue this career. In the years following, she also decided to take up acting.
